Scottish ClubSport is looking for a Finance Director to join our Board and bring their knowledge, skills and experience to support the organisation’s financial management, governance and strategic development.
We’re looking for someone with:
💷 Experience and knowledge of management and financial accounting
📊 Knowledge of financial systems, including Xero
🤝 Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
🎯 A commitment to the success and objectives of Scottish ClubSport
⚖️ The ability to question, challenge and contribute constructively at Board level
Board experience is desirable, but it’s not essential. Experience within sport or the voluntary sector would also be welcomed, but we’re particularly interested in what you can bring through your financial knowledge and experience.
The role is voluntary, with approximately 5 hours per month required, and reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
In return, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of Scottish ClubSport, gain experience working with a small and dynamic Board and staff team, and access Scottish ClubSport training, events and resources.
