The winner of the Scottish ClubSport Service to Sport award, sponsored by Forsyths is Craig Lindsay. The award was presented by East Fife Sports Council to recognise Craig`s long standing commitment and efforts towards community and club sport.

The winner of this year’s Service to Sport Award is in his 16th year as Match Secretary for Forret Curling Club. He has also served as both Secretary and Match Secretary for Cupar Province since 2016, which incorporates 11 local Curling Clubs, and he was elected as Cupar Province President in 2024. In addition to these roles, he has also represented Cupar Province on the Fife & Kinross Area 10 committee since 2016 – and has been a key contributor to the successful hosting of incoming Curling Tours from Canada, USA and most recently Switzerland.
He has been an active coach with the Kinross Junior curling club since achieving his Level 1 accreditation in 2018. He was elected in 2024 to undertake the role of Match Secretary and Lead Coach, a position to be served for 3 years.
He is also a board member of Kinross Curling Trust, a charitable organisation established to develop, promote, operate and manage the ice rink facility for curling in Kinross. The majority of Cupar Province clubs regard Kinross Curling as their home ice rink, and it is Area 10’s host venue for the incoming Switzerland tour.
