Beyond the Dojo – Connecting Communities

Brief outline of presentation:

For over forty years the coaches at Carnegie Judo Club have developed judo players to compete at international standard.  The club is exploring how we connect with our communities beyond the judo mat, including teaching safe falling classes for older people and supporting young people struggling with mainstream education.

Previously Held Roles: 

James (Jim) Feenan hold a 6^th Dan black belt in Judo and is a former director and chair of JudoScotland, director of the British Judo Association and is currently an honorary Vice President of JudoScotland.  James has had an extensive career in telecommunications working in senior roles across Europe.
