Brief outline of presentation:

The Qeltic Games is the UK’s largest LGBTIQ+ inclusive multisport tournament, with the 2024 host city being here in Perth. The event included partnership working with local sports clubs and national governing bodies. As well as giving an overview of the games, the presentation will explore two club case studies of inclusive practice.

Previously Held Roles: 

Amanda is the Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion on the Board of Scottish ClubSport. She works as the Sports Development Coordinator for University of the Highlands and Islands Students’ Association, is part of the organising committee for the Qeltic Games, a volunteer for LEAP Sports and Director of EDI on the Board of HorseScotland.

Rebecca is the Community Development Officer for LEAP Sports in the Perthshire and Tayside area, promoting inclusion in sport. She is the Scotland representative on the European Gay and Lesbian Sport Federation’s Annual General Assembly as well as being on the Qeltic Games Organising Committee and the EDI Officer on the Perth Pickleball Club Committee.
